The NAMESPACE command asks the server what its mailbox namespace looks like. Clients can use that command to offer sensible GUI operations for mailbox browsing.
Archiveopteryx uses a simple mailbox tree, looking very much like a Unix/MS-DOS file system:
Canonical name | Relative name | Type |
---|---|---|
/ | (none) | Placeholder |
/users | (none) | Placeholder |
/users/arnt | (none) | Placeholder |
/users/arnt/inbox | inbox | Personal mailbox |
/users/arnt/lists/aox | lists/aox | Personal mailbox |
/users/arnt/spam | spam | Personal mailbox |
/oryx/info | (none) | Shared mailbox |
The LITERAL+ extension is part of the LEMONADE group of extensions.
