IMAP/SORT=DISPLAYFROM support in Archiveopteryx
The SORT=DISPLAYFROM extension is a minor extension to
SORT to sort by From
in a more
sensible manner.
With SORT=DISPLAYFROM, the following addresses are in sort order: aa@example.com, Alice A. Random <aa@example.com>, Alice Aardvark <alice@example.com>, Alice B. Toklas <alice@example.net>, Alice's Autoresponder <alice@example.net>. The basic SORT extension would sort these differently (the two aa@ addresses first, then the three alice@, as if the Alices were the same person).
The SORT=DISPLAYFROM extension is implemented starting with version 3.0.3.
